About Us
A sanctuary built by hand, prayer and a great deal of patience.
Ananda Brundavanam began with seven rescued Gir cows, a borrowed field and a conviction that dharma is best taught by living it.
Our Mission
Serve the cow. Heal the soil. Steady the mind.
We exist to preserve indigenous cows, nurture Sanatana Dharma, promote sustainable agriculture, and help humanity reconnect with nature, spirituality, compassion and conscious living.
Every programme we run — a retreat, a havan, a school visit, a farm tour — is a door into the same room: a life lived in harmony with what sustains us.
Our Vision
A generation that returns to its roots by choice.
We see a future where indigenous cow breeds are thriving, where farms feed the soil before they feed the market, and where families know the taste of real ghee and the sound of real silence.
Ananda Brundavanam is the flagship spiritual ecosystem of Ananda Kshethram, carrying its work forward on the ground, every day.
Our Story
From seven cows to a living ecosystem.
The founder's intention was modest: give a few abandoned Gir cows a dignified life. As the herd grew, so did the land around it — first a fodder plot, then a natural farm, then a small shrine where the villagers gathered at dusk.
Twelve years later, thousands of families, students, volunteers and corporate teams have walked these paths. Nothing was marketed. People came, and then they told others.
Core Values
What we refuse to compromise.
Reverence
Every living being — cow, tree, guest and volunteer — is treated as sacred.
Simplicity
We choose the slower, quieter, more honest way of doing things.
Seva
Service is not an activity here. It is the schedule.
Regeneration
We leave every acre, every soul, healthier than we found it.
Authenticity
No shortcuts in ghee, in farming, or in spiritual practice.
Openness
All faiths, all ages, all backgrounds are welcome at the gate.
